VRF Systems

The latest KXZ2 VRF systems are the most flexible and versatile VRF systems that MHI has ever produced. Available in two pipe (heat pump) and three pipe (simultaneous heating and cooling) options. The KXZ2 range features patented variable temperature and capacity control (VTCC) technology, which is specifically designed to maximise performance and energy savings at part load conditions.

MHI offer three VRF systems, 2 pipe offering an effective heat pump which is available as a mini system and 3 pipe systems that offer individual room control for heating and cooling

Heat Pump 2-Pipe

  • 2-Pipe Heat Pump

    These systems provide either heating or cooling to all indoor units and are suitable for a wide variety of applications from an individual apartment to an entire multi-floor office.

    The range starts with an 11.2kW mini-VRF offering and extends all the way up to 168kW. The range has a total piping length from 100m (Mini VRF) to 1000m (KXZ2 & KXZRE2) and the furthest indoor unit can be connected up to 160m (70m on Mini-VRF) from the outdoor unit. With over 125 indoor unit models available in the range.

Heat Recovery 3-Pipe

  • 3 Pipe – Simultaneous Heating and Cooling

    Capable of providing simultaneous heating and cooling via a unique piping arrangement featuring PFD Control boxes which reduce installation time and the number of brazed connections on site. Each indoor unit is able to have independent heating and cooling operation. The range starts at 22.4kW and extends all the way up to 168kW. With over 125 indoor unit models available in the range

Wall Mounts

    The FDK series are innovatively designed with rounded contours that beautifully fit into any of Europe`s diverse interior settings. Created by an Italian industrial design studio in Milan.

    The FDK model adopts the airflow design that’s proven to minimise resistance in a CFD analysis to achieve uniform air conditioning to the furthest corners of the room.

Cassettes

  • Standard Cassette

    The FDT cassette range features a new thinner design allowing these systems to be installed into the smallest of ceiling voids. All models have a built in condensate pump with a maximum lift of 850mm.

    The FDT range is available in sizes starting from 4kW up to 14kW. All models have individual flap control on each of the 4 outlet louvers which can be programmed via the remote controller.

    MHI’s unique draft prevention panel is also available as an option for applications for where the occupant does not wish to have cold or hot drafts of air on them.

    Motion Sensors are also available as an option with this model providing advanced energy saving features and allowing the cassette to respond to the changing cooling and heating requirements of a room.

High static Ducted

  • High static ducted

    The FDU high static ducted range is available from 4.5kW to 28kW. These units are perfect for an office application. Featuring a built-in 600mm drain pump allowing for flexible routing of condensate pipework. A compact 280mm high design for the 7.1kW-16kW allow these systems to be fitted into shallow ceiling voids and just 379mm height for the 20kW+ units.

    With up to 200Pa static pressure available, these units can work with extended ductwork runs.

    Motion Sensors are also available as an option with this model providing advanced energy-saving features and allowing the unit to respond to the changing cooling and heating requirements of a room.

    The FDE-VH ceiling suspended systems are designed for scenarios where there is no false ceiling or void to fit a standard cassette. Available in sizes from 4kW to 14kW. These units provide installation flexibility, with refrigerant pipework being able to be fitted with top, right or rear piping options available.

    Motion Sensors are also available as an option with this model providing advanced energy saving features and allowing the cassette to respond to the changing cooling and heating requirements of a room.
